Jerry Jones Picked a Ridiculous Time to Criticize Cowboys Coaching Staff but Makes Zero Changes
By Ian Anderson

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones doesn't always know when to make big decisions regarding the franchise's directon, and that's one of the reasons why Big D's 23-year Super Bowl drought will continue to last.
Right on cue, his comments after the Cowboys' narrow loss to the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots Sunday show that he just doesn't know which buttons to press.
Jerry Jones not mincing words: “Special teams is totally a reflection of coaching.”

Jones did not hesitate in laying the blame on special teams following the 13-9 loss, but out of all the times to start pointing fingers, this was not the right time to do so.
The Cowboys have struggled at numerous points this season, including a pitiful loss to the then-winless New York Jets, but Jones refused to get skittish at the time. So, a four-point loss to the 10-1 New England Patriots is where the line must be drawn? That just doesn't add up.
And for all his bluster, special teams coach Keith O'Quinn and the rest of Jason Garrett's staff is reportedly safe.
Source: Despite the intense criticism from owner and GM Jerry Jones, the #Cowboys will make no immediate changes to Jason Garrett’s coaching staff. Jones criticized the special teams specifically. But special teams coordinator Keith O’Quinn will remain in that position.

Despite making these comments outing his coaches, Jones has decided to not make any coaching staff changes. Why get everyone all riled up in the first place, then?
The owner's inability to make the hard decisions, including keeping head coach Jason Garrett for at least one too many seasons, has continued to cost the Cowboys.
