Jerry Jones' Latest Comments Suggest He Isn't Too Concerned About Ezekiel Elliott's Holdout

The Dallas Cowboys are in the midst of a predicament, as running back Ezekiel Elliott is holding out, even though he has two years left on his rookie contract.
In an interview with CBS 11 Sports, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones sat down and, to no surprise, was asked about Zeke's ongoing holdout. Even though it's a massive distraction and could be a problem, Jones doesn't seem too concerned about it.
“That’s one of the dilemmas at running back is that the league knows that you can win Super Bowls and not have the Emmitt Smith back there or not have Zeke back there,” Jones said.
Well, that's a comment you make when you know you aren't going to pay the man.
“You’ve gotta do all of the things along with having Zeke that allow you to have other players so that you can win the Super Bowl. That’s what we’re going through,” Jones said.
The Cowboys are undoubtedly a better team with Elliott on the field, especially since quarterback Dak Prescott has shown inconsistencies in his absence. However, to win a Super Bowl, you have to spread the wealth and have depth up and down the roster. It doesn't make a lot of sense to put all that money in one position, especially a running back.
Jones doesn't appear to be phased by the Zeke holdout. How much longer can he stand his ground before paying him or trading him?
