Jets First-Round Pick Mekhi Becton's Dad is an Absolute Unit
The New York Jets drafted Mekhi Becton with the No. 11 overall pick and all anyone can talk about is the offensive lineman's immense size. He stands at 6-7 and weighs over 360 pounds, yet was somehow able to run a 5.1 40-yard dash.
This year's virtual draft means cameras are offering looks into the homes of all the top draft picks since the usual event couldn't be held with everyone in attendance. We got a treat looking into Becton's house when we saw his father, who is an absolute UNIT.
Now everyone can see where the younger Becton gets his size from. How did this guy not get calls from NFL teams back in the day? He could just stand there and block two defensive linemen without moving!
Mekhi Becton has insane and almost superhuman athleticism for someone his size. It's easy to imagine his dad was rather athletic himself in his prime given his imposing size and the fact his son is such a rare athlete. Maybe the Jets will ask for a package deal.
