The rough start to the Jets season seems to be affecting the emotions of more than just the fans.

Starting safety Jamal Adams has recently maintained a weekly gig on WFAN as a co-host for a show where he'd answer questions from fans. However, it was abruptly announced on Tuesday that Adams is leaving the station, with no real reason given.

One can only speculate it has, I don't know, something to do with the Jets' 0-3 start and the questions that stem from the oncoming disaster.

It turns out plenty at the station would've rather Adams maintained his position, including former linebacker Bart Scott.

Quitting the show in the middle of the season once the heat is on comes off a bit unprofessional. But, on the other hand, there was probably only so much of the New York media Adams could deal with during this losing streak. Opening himself up to even more questions from fans must've been too much to handle.

One can only hope the Jets' season turns around, and we can see Adams swiftly scramble to reclaim his spot.
