Jets Were Idiots in Handling of Sam Darnold-Luke Falk Practice Situation

With the Jets set to take on the Eagles on Sunday, young quarterback Luke Falk is ready to make his second-career NFL start. Unfortunately for the former Washington State signal caller, his coaching staff has put him in a horrendous situation.

Leading up to the game, with Sam Darnold's status coming off mono in the air, you'd figure Falk would have still gotten some reps with the first-team offense in practice, right?

The opposite was true.

Has Adam Gase completely lost his mind? This is nothing short of insanity. Unless you're 1,000 percent sure Darnold is playing, you don't give him every single rep this week with the starters.

How in the heck does he expect Falk to play his best game if he didn't throw a pass with the 1s during practices? Gase is basically setting up his quarterback for failure, especially against a veteran Philly secondary.

It looks like it's going to be another long Sunday for Jets fans out there, and no one is to blame more than Gase if that comes to fruition.
