Jim Irsay Refuses to Comment on Possibility of Andrew Luck 'Ever' Returning to Colts
By Sean Facey

Indianapolis Colts fans are still waiting to see the direction the team opts to head in terms of the quarterback of the future, but Jim Irsay's latest comments effectively confirmed that it won't be Andrew Luck.
Irsay refused to comment on whether or not Luck would "ever come back" to the Colts, but acknowledged that he missed "winning games with him."

"I know you guys wanna ask me about Andrew. Andrew’s my friend, and I miss my friend. I miss winning games with him... but right now, I know coach has had dinner with him, Chris has (too), but I can’t comment on anything in terms of will he ever come back."
The Colts' quarterback play took a sharp dip in Luck's absence. Overall, the team produced a mediocre 85.0 passer rating, finishing with just 3,314 passing yards on the season with Jacoby Brissett under center.
Luck seemed dead set on stepping away from the game of football for good when he announced his retirement in 2019, and it doesn't seem as if he's told Irsay anything contrary.

Luck's retirement press conference was glum, and his demeanor was that of a man worn down by injuries suffered in the NFL. However much Colts fans and Irsay desire to see No. 12 back under center in Indy, folks shouldn't get their hopes up.
