Jimmer Fredette Bails on Warriors Summer League Team After 2 Games
By Parker White

Last month, former college basketball star Jimmer Fredette signed with the Golden State Warriors and joined their Summer League team.
Well, his tenure with the Warriors didn't last long, as he's decided to leave their Summer League team after just two games.
Jimmer Fredette left the Warriors’ summer league team and won’t be with team in Las Vegas. He played in the first two games before leaving. Unclear what’s next for him, but could be evaluating other options

What the former BYU star will do next is still unclear, but the idea is that Fredette is considering several options overseas and he doesn't want to injure himself during the Summer League with Golden State.

If that's the case, you can't blame Fredette for pulling out. In his most recent season playing overseas in China, the former lottery pick averaged 37.6 points for the Shanghai Sharks. That kind of production should get him a solid contract elsewhere, rather than playing on the minimum in the NBA.
Even though his style of play has yet to work in the NBA, Fredette is balling out overseas, which appears to be the best level of play for the 30-year-old at this stage of his career.
