The Golden State Warriors will be down a Splash Brother to begin next season, but maybe they're hoping to catch lightning in a bottle and add another to the mix?

On Monday, Warriors assistant GM Larry Harris said on "Joe, Lo and Dibs" on 95.7 FM The Game that they've added former BYU star Jimmer Fredette to their Summer League roster.

Fredette played six games for the Phoenix Suns toward the end of this past season after signing a two-year deal with the team, but before that he hadn't played an NBA game since the 2015-2016 campaign. What's also important to note is that we have no idea how he was able to join the Warriors considering there's no news of the Suns opting not to exercise his team option for next season.

The 30-year-old guard didn't become the player everyone thought when he was selected 10th overall by the Milwaukee Bucks, but he surely made a name for himself over in China.

Not only was he the Chinese Basketball Association's International MVP in 2017, he averaged a whopping 37.6 points for the Shanghai Sharks in 2019.

The former Wooden Award winner became an instant star during his collegiate days, especially his senior season when he averaged an incredible 28.9 points, which led the NCAA.

Can that translate to the NBA as a Golden State Warrior? We'll have to wait and see what he does in the Summer League.
