VIDEO: Jimmy Butler Heads to Locker Room and Exits Heat Game After Suffering Non-Contact Injury

The Miami Heat may have just hit a major snag in their prolific 2019 season. During Sunday night's game against the Wizards, Jimmy Butler exited the game after appearing to tweak something in his leg while back-pedaling on defense. It didn't appear as if Butler made contact with anyone prior to going down, making the ailment all the more concerning.

Butler took a sharp step back and appear to injure himself, as he came up hobbling. He checked outo of the game shortly after and has not returned to the floor since.
Any injury to Butler that kept him off the floor for more than a few games could be extremely damaging to the Heat ahead of the playoffs. Currently sitting in fourth in the East, the Heat have both Philadelphia and Indiana on their heels.

The Heat did not provide too much information on Butler's injury, though they confirmed he hurt his toe on the play and wuold not return to the court.
