Jimmy Butler Ripped Brett Brown and Discussed His 76ers Tenure While on JJ Redick's Podcast

Jimmy Butler is exceeding expectations as a member of the Miami Heat, but he's carried a track record as a locker room problem over his nine-year career.
Butler went on JJ Redick's podcast this week, and the two had some shared history under Brett Brown in Philadelphia that Butler simply had to delve into.
Problems between the nomadic star and his coaching staff are nothing new. Butler had a problem with Coach Tom Thibodeau in Chicago AND in Minnesota.
It wasn't just an issue with coaching, either, as his Timberwolves problems culminated in that one infamous practice, where he took the third-stringers and beat the starting lineup, all while trashing the players and management (but mostly Karl-Anthony Towns).
Jimmy said a lot more about Philadelphia during his time on Redick's podcast, including details about his first few weeks on the team.
While Butler has a bumpy track record with NBA teams, there is no doubt he is one of the hardest workers in the league. He went from the last pick in the first round of the 2011 draft, to playing just over eight minutes in his rookie season, to a bonafide All-Star after three years.
Now he's a major reason the Miami Heat are exceeding expectations at fourth in the East, while Butler averages 20 points, six assists and six rebounds per game.
The Sixers team he left behind are sixth in the conference (38-26) and struggling through injuries to Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid. Seems like Jimmy made the right decision.
