Jimmy Butler Appears to Have Resolved to Make TJ Warren's Life A Living Hell
By Michael Luciano
Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler is crazy in the most wonderful way. He'll get involved in some scrums on a nightly basis and bark at about anyone who will listen, but that stems from a passion for the game and winning that is unmatched across most of the NBA.
Indiana Pacers forward TJ Warren was the latest player to end up in Butler's crosshairs, as Warren was ejected following a scrap with Butler in which Warren lost his cool. Butler torched him in the post-game interview, claiming that Warren is "soft" and "not even in my [expletive]ing league."
Those sound like fighting words.
Butler, who is averaging 20.4 points, 6.9 rebounds, 6.6 assists, and 2.0 steals this season, is chomping at the big to get back at it with Warren, whom he claims started most of the verbal confrontation.
Butler even posted the date that Miami returns to Indiana on Instagram, showing that he's eager to show Warren that he is not so easily trifled with.
Butler managed just 14 points in 28 minutes today, but he was 5-6 from the field. If Erik Spoelstra gives him the green light to go nuts when the rematch goes down, things could get even more chippy than they did tonight.
