VIDEO: Jimmy Garoppolo Bomb to Emmanuel Sanders Sets up Robbie Gould Game-Winner vs Rams

The San Francisco 49ers and the Los Angeles Rams went back and forth all night in an NFC West shootout. The score was tied 31-31 late in the fourth quarter when the Rams suffered a total defensive breakdown. Emmanuel Sanders found himself wide open and Jimmy Garoppolo threw a bomb to hit his receiver in stride.

The throw came on third-and-long and Garoppolo had pressure in his face. That was not a problem and all the 49ers needed was a Robbie Gould field goal to finish it off. He came through and just like that the 49ers are back atop the entire NFC.

Garoppolo had a rough night, throwing two interceptions and taking six sacks. He often held onto the ball too long, but this game will be remembered for his big throw to Sanders.

For now the 49ers are the No. 1 seed in the NFC, though that can change Sunday. The Rams, meanwhile, are officially eliminated from the playoffs in Week 16 one year after making it to the Super Bowl.
