Jimmy Garoppolo suspended for 2 games due to PED violation

This is the last thing veteran quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo needs to be going through right now. After a rough first season with the Las Vegas Raiders, he's expected to be released this offseason. However, signing with a new team will be tough due to Friday's breaking news.
According to ESPN insider Adam Schefter, Garoppolo has been suspended for the first two games of the 2024 season due to a PED violation. This shocking update has come in from out of nowhere on the signal-caller.
Raiders QB Jimmy Garoppolo is being suspended two games for violating the NFL’s Performance Enhancing Substances Policy, league sources told ESPN.

Garoppolo arrived in Las Vegas after spending the previous six years with the 49ers. Things didn't go according to plan for him in the AFC West, with him being benched last season in favor of Aidan O'Connell. Once free agency rolls around, teams may be hesitant to give Jimmy G the money he was hoping for.
