For University of Washington head coach Jimmy Lake, his time in Montlake has come to a close. Lake took over as head coach last season for the one and only Chris Peterson. Things just never took off for Lake.
Over the weekend, he was fired as head coach at UW following a stunning loss to Arizona State. Despite being dismissed as leader of the team, Lake fired off a message of support for Husky Nation as a whole.
Purple and Gold run through my veins… Proud to have been a Husky… Go Dawgs!!! ???

That's a classy move there from Lake. While he was hoping of winning titles with UW, he'll now have to look for a new place to call home in the near future.
