JJ Watt Has Hilarious Tweet in Response to Having Open Bar at His Wedding
By Jerry Trotta
It's only been a little over two weeks since JJ Watt announced his engagement to longtime girlfriend and soccer star on the United States Women's National Team, Kealia Ohai, so the pair likely haven't set a date or location for the big day just yet.
But one key detail has already been made public by Watt himself, and boy is it a big one.
Replying to a reporter during a Houston Texans presser, the All-Pro edge rusher confirmed that there will be an open bar at his wedding. And the Pewaukee native even took to Twitter to hilariously admit that, being from Wisconsin, he genuinely thought that open bars stand as the only available option for weddings.
Watt must have been to some pretty wild weddings in the past if he'd literally never attended one without an open bar. Watt believes that an open bar is "the only way to make a good wedding," so I sure hope Ohai is on board with his plans. Believe it or not, JJ, it's not policy at a wedding to serve endless free-flowing booze, though I do agree with your stance on the matter.
With Ohai's season with the Houston Dash leading into Watt's regular season with the Texans, the three-time Defensive Player of the Year did admit that planning the wedding will be a demanding task.
He's just nailing down the most important bits early.
