JJ Watt Tweets Out Awesome Tribute to Brett Favre After Meeting Him
By Scott Rogust

NFL athletes grew up as fans of players just like the rest of us. That includes Houston Texans defensive end JJ Watt. Growing up in Wisconsin, many children like himself idolized former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre.
Watt got the opportunity to meet the Hall of Famer recently, who visited the Texans facility on Tuesday. How did the visit go?
As a kid growing up in Wisconsin, there was no bigger figure than Brett Favre. Yesterday I got to sit & talk football, life, that game after his dad passed, Reggie White & more with a childhood idol of mine. It was a truly special experience that 5th grade me would never believe. pic.twitter.com/1CtP6gPMld

As Watt mentions, he got to speak at length with Favre about playing with legendary defensive lineman Reggie White and playing against the Oakland Raiders just after the death of his father. More importantly, they talked about life in general.
Favre would reciprocate the gesture by praising the talk he had with Watt, and by thanking Texans head coach Bill O'Brien for allowing him to visit the team.
Really great to visit and talk football & life with @JJWatt. Thanks also to Coach Bill O’Brien and the @HoustonTexans for the hospitality. pic.twitter.com/hLdAIJKZTg

Many fans dream of getting to pick the brains of sports legends like Favre. JJ Watt had the chance to do just that, and his inner child is definitely jealous that it happened over 20 years later.
