JJ Watt Tweets Perfect Response to Firing of Texans GM Brian Gaine
By Jerry Trotta
The Houston Texans shockingly fired general manager Brian Gaine on Friday after just one season at the helm despite letting him govern the franchise's draft and offseason transactions in the past months.
While most Texans fans are likely kicking themselves for rooting for a franchise that displayed such a blatant and unnecessary management strategy in one swift move, the organization's cornerstone player is worried about one thing, and one thing only.
Check out J.J. Watt's perfect reply to a fan on Twitter who asked for his thoughts on Gaine's abrupt firing.
Ah, just when you thought he couldn't get any better. Why can't every franchise in sports have a player like J.J. to represent their brand and focus on what's really important?
From clogging up running lanes to bull-rushing opposing quarterbacks to his endless donations to charity to a hilarious social media presence to reassuring fans on Twitter, this man can literally do it all.
The only question we have about Watt's tweet, however, is that the Texans did in fact win in 2018. As NFL insider Ian Rapoport points out, Houston went 11-5 last season and made the playoffs. There is surely more to this story than meets the eye.
