Dodgers' Joc Pederson Bleached His Hair and Looks Completely Different

Joc Pederson has been with the Los Angeles Dodgers his entire career. That tenure nearly came to an end this offseason, but a failed trade to the Los Angeles Angels keeps Pederson with the Dodgers entering the 2020 campaign.
Fortunately, Pederson has taken it all in stride, and is showing off a new version of himself with a bleached head of hair.

New year, new Joc.
He looks totally different, and that may have been his intended goal. He finds himself fighting to prove he still belongs after being a 3.3 WAR player in 2019 and facing questions about whether he's more than just a platoon guy for the high-powered Dodgers.
Joc Pederson worked all winter with private trainer Travelle Gaines to improve his athleticism, explosiveness, strength. Pederson graded higher in #Dodgers measuring they do of players in camp. "That was definitely encouraging to me and I was really excited about that."

The entire Dodger organization has a chip on its shoulder in 2020 after spending an entire offseason discussing how two World Series may have been stolen from the team thanks to cheating scandals connected to the 2017 Astros and 2018 Red Sox. Having a bit of an edge doesn't have to be a bad thing, and Pederson is leading the charge with his new look.
Fans may just end up doing a double-take or two the first time they see him this year.
