New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick might try to portray himself as a mute football automaton, but he is really quite the eccentric, with a burgeoning interest in history, politics, trivia, and sports outside of football.

“He’ll talk about baseball, talk about the Civil War, about the Iranian nuclear program. But he basically won’t even tell you if Tom Brady’s playing that week.”https://t.co/bNgsQ8SNpu
It's a shame that we never get to see this side of Bill, because he sounds like a real character.
You could be the biggest Patriots hater in the world, but if you're saying that you don't want to hear the greatest coach in football history discuss General Sherman's strategy during the Civil War, then you're doing yourself a disservice.
Honestly, would love to talk Civil War battle strategy with Belichick. It would be straight up fascinating.
