Joe Burrow's Hand Size Revealed and it's a Little Concerning
By Adam Weinrib
If you're the type to freak out after looking at a set of metrics you've never seen before or cared about prior to this very day, then look away from Joe Burrow's details.
As the NFL Combine kicks off in earnest, reports are trickling in about the official measurements of several of the most prominent young players in the country. And, against all odds, the presumptive No. 1 pick of this year's crop, LSU QB Joe Burrow, has smaller hands than the man who went first overall the year prior. That's Kyler Murray, of course, who's overall very much smaller than Burrow.
Murray checked in at 9.5 inches last season, but before you set off your alarm bells, it's best to remember that: A) this doesn't matter, and B) Murray was great in 2019!
In case you were curious about whose notably large hands have gotten the Combine's attention, though, allow me to direct you to thoroughly mediocre Michigan State QB Brian Lewerke, who comes with a pair of oven mitts.
Burrow's other measurements tell a much happier story, for what it's worth. After checking in at 6-4, 216 pounds at LSU, though many evaluators believed him to be lighter and closer to 210, Burrow was measured slightly shorter and significantly burlier on Monday.
All of this will work out for the presumptive No. 1 selection. But still, we dare you to get those small hands out of your head, now that you know.
