Joe Burrow Reportedly Wondered if He Broke a Rib After Taking Hit in First Half vs Clemson
By Michael Luciano

LSU quarterback Joe Burrow has accounted for four total touchdowns against Clemson in the National Championship, but he might have to play the second half banged up.
Burrow was crushed on his final touchdown of the first half to Thaddeus Moss, and the 2019 Heisman winner thought that he had broken his rib, which would have effectively ended his night.
Per Holly Rowe on ESPN radio, LSU QB Joe Burrow was gasping for air as he left the field, wondering if he had just broken a rib. #CFPNationalChampionship

Burrow didn't miss any game time, as he started the second half at quarterback.
Even in just one half of football, Burrow has managed to tie Hawaii's Colt Brennan with his single season record 58th touchdown pass. He is also the second QB in history with 250 passing yards, 50 rushing yards, and a rushing touchdown. The only other QB to do this was Vince Young in the 2006 Rose Bowl.

Burrow is cooking, injury and all, and LSU is up right now, but Trevor Lawrence and Clemson proved last week that you can never truly count them out.
