VIDEO: Joe Burrow Tears up During Heisman Speech While Thanking LSU Coach Ed Orgeron
By Mark Powell

While Joe Burrow's had plenty of Heisman moments this season, his speech may very well define him. Burrow has had a long, strenuous journey to where he's at today, facing doubters every step of the way. Even at Ohio State, when he had ample opportunity to win the starting QB job, Urban Meyer and Co. went with Dwayne Haskins instead, seemingly forcing Burrow out of the door. Burrow then met Ed Orgeron, a coach that undoubtedly believed in him and what he could bring to the gridiron if given the opportunity.

Coach O has that impact on plenty of his current and former players. He's a players' coach at heart, and helps his squad on and off the field. While we often make fun of his accent and at time inaudible postgame interviews, he's proven himself to be one of the best coaches in the country.

Orgeron and Burrow have two more battles together, with only the College Football Playoff remaining. Win or lose, these two have built a bond that cannot be broken.
