How much Girardi will make per year has not been released, but being a veteran manager with experience and World Series title to his name, I'd imagine it's pretty hefty.
Well, it was for the New York Mets when they were interested in hiring Girardi.

The Phillies will formally introduce Girardi at a news conference on Monday. The new skipper will also wear No. 25, which is the same number Hall of Famer Jim Thome wore when he was in Philly.
Girardi is a hard-line, traditional manager who should provide a stark difference from the likes of Gabe Kapler. He's a perfect fit for Philadelphia personality-wise, and the Phillies hope he can bring that same energy to the diamond and motivate what ought to be a talented roster.
