Joe Haden Carted Off Steelers' Practice Field With Ankle Injury

The Steelers suffered a setback to their secondary on the eve of the NFL's big preseason kickoff. Cornerback Joe Haden had to be carted off the field during a Pittsburgh practice on Wednesday.

The veteran defensive back has been a key cog in Pittsburgh's defense against the pass ever since he joined the team ahead of the 2017 season. In his two years with the Steelers, he's totaled 19 passes defended, 3 interceptions, 83 total tackles and 6 tackles for loss.
It's could have been notable blow coming so close to the start of the season. Fortunately, as more information poured in, it became clear that the issue with Haden's ankle was not as serious as some initially feared.
