Joe Pavelski's Agent Suggests He Won't be Returning to Sharks in Free Agency
By Michael Luciano

As hard is this could be for Sharks fans, it sounds like the Joe Pavelski era is coming to an end in San Jose.
According to The Athletic's Kevin Kurz, the word around Pavelski from his agent Dan Plante is that the Sharks legend will be looking to sign elsewhere in 2019-20.
Just spoke with Joe Pavelski’s agent, Dan Plante. The overwhelming sense now is that Pavelski will be moving on to another team as a free agent. Sounds like the end of an era in San Jose

If this is indeed curtains for Pavelski's reign in San Jose, what a time it's been.
After scraping onto their roster as a seventh-round pick in 2003, the 34-year-old Pavelski has been nothing short of a superstar for the Sharks, scoring 355 goals and totaling 761 points in 13 seasons in San Jose.
Pavelski has already met with the Stars and Lightning, but has denied a meeting with the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Logan Couture cannot fathom playing for the Sharks without Joe Pavelski, a pending unrestricted free agent who visited the Stars and Lightning on Wednesday.https://t.co/Nz3abSb9He

With Logan Couture and Erik Karlsson in town, the Sharks will manage to be competitive next year, even without a franchise player, icon, and legend in the middle.
