Future Hall of Famer Joe Thomas is well-respected around the NFL, and stayed extremely loyal to the Browns throughout his entire career despite a tenure packed with losing.

It appears as if Thomas' loyalty has not wavered, as he took to Twitter to defend new Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. from ESPN reporter and local media screamer Tony Grossi.

Yup. A true win-win for Grossi, who gets to stir the pot and reap the benefits the second OBJ makes even one mistake. Hooray for you.

The former offensive tackle points out that missing a few unpadded practices will not hinder the chemistry on the Browns offense, and that the supremely talented Beckham Jr. will surely be fine by the time the season starts.

The former Brown was also quick to point out that every quarterback and wide receiver pairing struggles from time to time, and that Grossi will use those inevitable instances to reassert his faulty logic.

Grossi did clap back, pointing out that Thomas attended OTAs every year, so they must not be entirely unimportant. But according to Thomas' reasoning, the wide receiver playbook is second to only running backs for the simplest in football, meaning OTAs are not necessary to familiarize yourself with a new system.

Score one for the ex-athlete here. Odell will be fine.
