John Harbaugh Had Bizarre Lobster Reference When Describing Ravens' Balance
By Scott Rogust

The Baltimore Ravens are the heavy favorites to hoist the Lombardi Trophy down in Miami after Super Bowl LIV. That's due in part to their explosive offense, and equally dominant defense.
Ahead of the Ravens' AFC Divisional Round matchup against the Tennessee Titans, head coach John Harbaugh was asked about how balanced his team is. Harbaugh responded with a bizarre analogy, comparing the Ravens to a lobster, and then a crab.
Ravens coach John Harbaugh on having a balanced team (No. 2 offense and No. 4 defense): “We never want to be a lobster — don't they have one big claw and one little claw? Is that lobster? Or is it some other clawed fish? I dunno. It's a crab, okay. So that's it.”

This is the most Baltimore thing we've ever heard. But it does make some sense.
Baltimore owns the second-best offense in the league (407.6 yards/game), led by MVP favorite Lamar Jackson. Defensively, the team ranks fourth in terms of yards allowed per game (300.6). That's about as positive of a balance as a team could ask for.

These numbers, as well as their on-field performances, have made the Ravens a terrifying threat in the playoffs. There's Baltimore, and then there's everyone else.
The Ravens look to show how balanced they are, at the expense of the upset-minded Titans, who are fresh of a stunning win over the New England Patriots.
