John Wall Showing Support for Kentucky During Games Proves He's a True Wildcat

Washington Wizards point guard John Wall is one of the most successful players to ever come out of Kentucky, averaging 19 points and 9 assists per game in his NBA career thus far.
But make no mistake about it: Wall has proven he doesn't forget where he came from, showing love for the Kentucky Wildcats and their fans at every turn. He was in attendance on Saturday night as the Wildcats took on the Florida Gators and seems seems to have become quite a fan of leading Wildcats scorer Emmanuel Quickley, who was fantastic night after dropping 26 points in the win.

Wall has been injured for the past year with an Achilles tear and clearly has been making the most of his time away from the NBA. He's gone back to school and attended a lot of Kentucky games, becoming a huge sideline presence for the team.
Tyrese Maxey and Immanuel Quickley both said as recruits — and reiterated tonight — that they were drawn to Kentucky, in part, because of John Wall.

Wall has been a huge supporter of the No. 10-ranked Wildcats this season, and you can bet that has helped play a role in the team's success. The crowd always gets amped when an alum is in attendance, and Wall has made that a reality quite often this year.
