Jon Gruden is known as one of the most colorful personalities in all of the NFL, the Oakland Raiders coach has been nothing but a headline machine since his return to coaching last year.

His brother Jay has been the head coach for the Washington Redskins for the past five seasons. Jay will have the pleasure of coaching veteran cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie , who briefly retired after one season with the Raiders last season, but came out of retirement to sign with the Redskins this offseason. Jay Gruden had a humorous quote regarding the decision for DRC to retire and then un-retire after playing for his brother.

Obviously this was a joke from Jay, but it certainly was a hilarious way to troll his brother. After Oakland's disappointing season in 2018, it might not have been too far-fetched to think that Gruden's tanking tactics drove DRC out of The Bay.

Jon Gruden may come across to some as a little eccentric, but he is one of the most well liked guy around football and he has a great relationship with his brother.

Jay was also asked about the possibility of the Redskins being featured on HBO's Hard Knocks but instead of giving a real answer, he suggested that the Raiders should be the focal point of the show this year.

These two brothers will continue to take jabs at each other during the offseason, but it's all in good fun. Their main priority, however, will be getting their respective organizations out of the cellar of the league, and into the postseason.
