The New York Jets aren't the only AFC East team dealing with an injury to their franchise quarterback.

After taking a vicious, controversial hit to the head from New England Patriots cornerback Jonathan Jones, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen entered the concussion protocol. With Allen still nursing his head injury, it appears more likely that backup Matt Barkley will start on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans.

Allen was his usual up and down self through the first three games of the year, but he managed to help the Bills get off to a 3-0 start. They were exposed by the Patriots, though, as Allen tossed three bad interceptions in a 16-10 loss. Allen has six touchdowns (three rushing) and nine turnovers on the season, including six interceptions.

As inconsistent as Allen can be, every Bills fan out there would rather see him as opposed to Barkley against a tough Titans defense.

The worst part about all of this? Jones was not fined, and the Patriots might have stuck a fork in the Bills if Allen is out for an extended period.
