Josh Donaldson Wins Appeal After Benches-Clearing Brawl In Pittsburgh
By Michael Luciano

Tempers flared during the June 11 clash between the Pittsburgh Pirates and Atlanta Braves, as Atlanta third baseman Josh Donaldson was a bit peeved after Pirates starter Joe Musgrave drilled him with a pitch in the first inning. Benches cleared, like they do, and both Musgrave and Donaldson were tossed from the game, with Donaldson getting slapped with a one-game suspension.

After appealing his case, Donaldson has won his appeal and will not receive that one-game slap on the wrist after all. A previously undisclosed fine has also been reduced to a mere $1,000.

The video above certainly doesn't paint Donaldson in the best light, as shoving catcher Elias Diaz with the intent of getting physical with Musgrave is a pretty good way to set off alarms around Joe Torre's office.
Luckily for Braves fans, they won't have to go a whole ONE game without seeing their third baseman, who is hitting .260 with 14 home runs for a first-place Atlanta squad.
As a Braves fan I’m stoked about that but wow. Lol.

As Braves fans rejoice that Donaldson, who has become a fan favorite a SunTrust Park, won't have to sit out a game, Pirates fans are left wondering how shoving an opposing player doesn't warrant a suspension.
