Josh Gordon's Latest Comment About QBs Should Make Patriots Fans Upset

After escaping a bizarre developing situation in New England, Josh Gordon seems happy to be a trusted member of the only NFL team to beat the San Francisco 49ers in 2019.

On two big third downs Monday night at Levi's Stadium, Gordon was the key valve for QB Russell Wilson, and was heavily relied upon late in the game to come down with clutch catches.

And if you ask him, he's loving his time with the possible 2019 NFL MVP -- but that doesn't mean Patriots fans will enjoy what he has to say.

Yes, following the game, Gordon stated that at this point of his career, it feels as if he's trending upwards, in terms of signal callers.

Take this as a shot at Tom Brady if you'd like, Pats Nation, but (deep breath) Russell Wilson is clearly outplaying the Pats legend this season, and that's not even really controversial? One is an MVP favorite, and one has beaten one singular winning team, often sporting pedestrian numbers?

Brady is, however, the greatest winner this game has ever known, and Gordon's time in New England ended in unsavory fashion, capped by an IR designation he deemed unnecessary, as well as some machinations to keep him in place beyond the trade deadline so that he couldn't dictate anything. We may never understand what went on behind closed doors.

Gordon's on another contender now, and he's a key cog. Clearly, he prefers catching balls from Russ in the process...for now, at least, before the next complication.
