Josh Gordon Officially Active for Seahawks Debut on MNF vs 49ers
By Michael Luciano
Josh Gordon is finally set to make his debut as a Seattle Seahawk, and it'll come against the league's best defense in primetime.
Gordon, who was inactive last week, will take his first snaps as a Seahawk against Richard Sherman and the vaunted San Francisco 49ers defense.
Gordon, who played just 10 games in four seasons with the Cleveland Browns due to drug-related suspensions, was cut by New England a few weeks ago before he latched on in Seattle. In six games as Tom Brady's primary vertical threat, Gordon had 20 catches for 287 yards and one touchdown. Why the Patriots decided to cut him remains a mystery to this day.
Gordon's size-speed combo was always jaw-dropping, but pairing him with elite slot receiver Tyler Lockett and standout rookie DK Metcalf has the potential to do some real damage.
With Lockett, Metcalf, and Gordon all ready to go, Wilson might have an embarrassment of riches at wide receiver for the first time in his career.
