Josh Sitton Plans to Retire as a Packer

Josh Sitton has announced his retirement from the National Football League. The former Pro Bowl guard signed a one-day deal to retire as a Packer.
A key member of the team's 2011 Super Bowl winning squad, Sitton was one of the league's elite guards for many years.
#Packers announced that G Josh Sitton will retire as a Packer. He played 8 seasons and started 112 of 121 regular season games and all 13 post-season games. He was named to the Pro Bowl three times and was an alternate three times.

Following his run with the Pack, Sitton suited up for the Bears (2016-2017) and the Dolphins (2018). He had spent this season as a free agent following his release from the Dolphins. A fan favorite in Green Bay, Sitton was a player who could always be relied upon to land a key block.
My favorite lineman at the time. He took no crap from anyone and kicked ass. Congrats retiring as a packer @jsitton71 ! Thanks for doing all the dirty work on the field. #packers https://t.co/gZVLKQfCNe

While he was never the flashiest player (offensive line is a tough position to get noticed at for the right reasons), Sitton was a rock-solid presence for the Packers line, missing just five games total during his run with the team. He may not be a Hall of Famer, but Sitton was one of the best linemen of the 2010's, and will be remembered in Green Bay.
