Juan Soto and the Padres avoid arbitration

There's going to be a lot of relieved San Diego Padres fans out there thanks to the latest news from Jeff Passan. On Friday, it was announced that San Diego and Soto have agreed to a deal and they've avoided arbitration.
Thankfully, there's not going to be any drama this winter and Soto is going to be locked in to try and blast as many homers as possible.

When San Diego is fully healthy, on paper, they're a serious team to watch out for. Soto remains one of the most exciting young players out there too. He could be in line for a huge 2023.
