VIDEO: Juan Soto Goes Oppo for First Home Run of Spring Training
By Mark Powell
The Nats ought to give this Juan Soto kid a chance this season. The Nationals' postseason hero is off to a flying start in 2020, picking up right where he left off. Soto took the St. Louis Cardinals deep on Monday, proving once again that he can hit the ball to all fields.
Soto is a popular NL MVP pick this season, and rightly so. Still at just 21 years old, it's easy to see why Washington was so willing to let Bryce Harper walk, opening up the outfield for Soto to take over as the undisputed leader and contributor in the Nats' lineup.
He just might make this team after all.
