Judge Frees Antonio Brown From House Arrest and Ankle Monitor
By Evan Wolff

Antonio Brown has been in the news for all of the wrong reasons of late. Before the 2019 season, the wide receiver was on the path to all-time greatness in the NFL. Now the embattled star has been fighting his own demons for what seems like forever.
Hopefully, the latest development in the Antonio Brown saga is positive step forward in his eventual recovery. After his court appearance on Tuesday, a judge ruled that Brown would be able to walk without GPS tracking, was freed from house arrest, and can travel with court approval.

The judge permitted Brown to travel without an ankle monitor for work purposes, though he will be required to notify the court in advance. Brown still had to surrender his passport, and will be under close scrutiny by the court.
I’m rooting for Antonio Brown to turn it all around & receive the help he needs. Just from a mental health perspective.

It’s easy to hate the guy for all he’s done but something clearly isn’t clicking for him mentally. pic.twitter.com/gW5NZgWuoL
Despite the prosecution voicing their concerns over Brown as a potential flight risk, citing his recent run-ins with police, the judge awarded the wideout this additional freedom.
