Julian Edelman Has Incredibly Dramatic Twitter Reaction to Super Bowl Sunday
By Michael Luciano
For the first time since Super Bowl 50, the AFC representative in the Super Bowl will be someone other than Tom Brady, Julian Edelman, and the New England Patriots, which is a massive plus for anyone who doesn't live in or around the state of Massachusetts.
Edelman, however, isn't as thrilled as the rest of the country that Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs will be the ones to take on Jimmy Garoppolo and the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl, as proven by his melancholy tweet.
Boo hoo. Let me play a little song for you on the world's smallest violin.
If you would have liked to be in this game so bad, maybe dropping 13 passes, a whopping 8.5% of your targets, isn't the best way to play wide receiver. Perhaps losing a playoff game at home to Ryan Tannehill wasn't a prudent decision, either.
Sorry your soul is hurting on this day, Julian. I guess you'll just have to make do with your five Super Bowl appearances, three championships and Super Bowl MVP. Oh, what a tortured life you live.
