Julian Edelman Returns to Practice in Latest Great Sign for His Recovery
By Michael Luciano

New England Patriots wide receiver slot ace Julian Edelman found himself on the injury report with a ribs injury he sustained during New England's win over the New York Jets.
It still appears like Edelman is going to be active for their huge matchup against the Bills in Buffalo this week, as he returned to practice and was a full participant on Wednesday.

Edelman has recorded 17 catches for 196 yards and a touchdown this season as the Patriots have coasted to 3-0 past three winless teams in the Steelers, Dolphins, and Jets.
The release of Antonio Brown means that Edelman and undrafted rookie Jakobi Meyers are just about all they got as far as an inside slot receiver in 11 personnel is concerned. Rather than having to revert to using Meyers against an elite Buffalo defense, Tom Brady will have the luxury of Edelman against a talented Bills unit.

Edelman has been getting banged up a little more of late, but it appears that his latest injury scare was nothing too serious. It's a big break for the Patriots who, in the span of a week, went from having one of the deepest wide receiving corps in the league, to nearly starting their rookie wideout in the slot.
