VIDEO: Julian Edelman Appears to Say Tom Brady is 'Coming Back' During Courtside TV Appearance at UNC-Syracuse
By Brendan Balsamo
Two New England Patriot legends, Tom Brady and Julian Edelman, look to still be friends even amidst the rumors that Brady is leaving the team, despite the fact he's spent his entire two-decade career in Foxborough. On Saturday, Brady and Edelman were spotted at the UNC vs Syracuse game with late night talk show host Jimmy Fallon. ESPN's camera panned to Edelman at an awkward moment, in which the Patriots receiver appeared to say "he's coming back."
With rumors circulating that Brady is leaving his career team, Patriots fans should be put a little more at ease seeing Brady with playoff legend Edelman at this game. Edelman's comment ought to excite the masses, even though we have no evidence if that statement is out of context.
Perhaps Brady and Edelman are making an appearance on the Tonight Show, hence the reason they're sitting with Fallon at Saturday's game.
All signs point to Brady's departure, but perhaps Edelman is attempting to convince him otherwise right now. We have no clue as to what exactly is going to happen, and while Brady being with his friend at the UNC vs. Syracuse game should mean nothing, this will open up tons of speculation.
