Justin Verlander was unreal vs. the Mariners

Justin Verlander reminded everyone in a major way that he's still one of the best pitchers in the game on Saturday night. Verlander tossed eight shutout innings, needing only 87 pitches to silence the Mariners.

Verlander is coming off Tommy John Surgery, but he's shown no signs of struggle. Seriously, he was amazing against Seattle from start to finish.

Verlander is 39 years old, but he's looking like his old self. Astros have high hopes for him and the team as a whole this campaign. Saturday's showing was a great sign for all the Verlander fans out there. It was awesome to see.
