Chiefs RB Damien Williams Robbed at Los Angeles Airbnb
By Mark Powell

Chiefs running back Damien Williams is fresh off an impressive Super Bowl performance this past February against the San Francisco 49ers, which included two touchdowns to complete the comeback in the fourth quarter.
Like most NFL players, Williams' offseason activities have been thrown for a loop, as the COVID-19 pandemic has prevented teammates from working out together, as well as limited any potential for family vacations.
This weekend, Williams faced greater concerns, however. The 28-year-old was the victim of a robbery in a Los Angeles Airbnb he had booked.

Williams and all involved are okay, but the thieves remain at large. The suspects left the scene with over $1,000 after breaking in through the back door of the building. Williams complied with their requests and then contacted the police.

The Chiefs running back duo of Williams and rookie Clyde Edwards-Helaire is as explosive as they come, and assuming the season starts on time, will provide Patrick Mahomes with some much-needed insurance against some stout AFC West defenses.
While Williams' situation might distract from that ultimate goal, for now we can be grateful that neither he nor anyone else was harmed in the incident.
