Chiefs Teammates Talking Trash to Each Other Over Madden is Exactly the Offseason Content Fans Need
By Nick Porr

Since the reveal of the NFL's 2020 schedule on May 7, 2020, fans have been starving for football action. Some recent tweets from Kansas City Chiefs players are showing off that it's not just the fans who are missing football, and they're finding some creative ways to fire up their competitive engines in these days of COVID-19.
Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones has been on Twitter calling out his teammates and challenging them to a game of Madden NFL 20. Since they cannot go and practice together due to the ongoing pandemic, Madden is the closest thing to competitive football they can get. And thery're certainly making the most of it.

Chris Jones has been dominating his teammates, including a convincing win over teammate Anthony Hitchens. Jones controlled the Chiefs, while his linebacker teammate took the Tennessee Titans.
Jones snagged a convincing win over Hitchens, and seeing him go after his fellow Chiefs on Twitter right now is exactly what fans need. Almost zero sports are active right now due to the pandemic, so seeing players engage in some virtual competition is as good as it gets.
@PatrickMahomes @cheetah @AnthonyHitchens.... whenever you guys feel the need to prove yourself....

The sticks are Hot! (Anytime Anyday) #SacknationPrevails
Jones isn't shying away from anyone, including his teammate and Madden cover athlete Patrick Mahomes. He recently extended the invitation to play Madden to friends and family, and he's oozing with confidence.
I’m giving L’s all day today! Teammates, Family, Friends, etc....

The coronavirus pandemic has left many worried that the 2020 NFL season may not be able to occur entirely as scheduled. We don't want to entertain such a possibility, and neither does Jones. Imagine a competitor like this being stuck on his couch come what was supposed to be Week 1.
