It takes a really daring individual to try and upstage the Kansas City Chiefs' first Super Bowl parade since the Nixon administration, and this one doofus almost managed to pull it off. Before the Chiefs arrived in downtown Kansas City, a suspect tried weaving through and escaping the police presence by taking off down the route that was closed off for the parade.

The video starts with the fleeing suspect already trying to evade police, so it offers little clarity into how this whole thing got started.
The car continued to streak along the parade route until one of the cop cars banged into the side of the escapee's car, which caused him to spin out and come to a halt.

An anticlimactic end, but at least this guy got his comeuppance.

This guy literally couldn't have picked a worse place to try and escape police presence, as there were thousands of witnesses, hundreds of cops, and plenty of cameras. Credit to the Kansas City police for stopping this guy, who will probably be spending quite a long time in the clink.
