Kansas City Church Holding 2 Services Sunday Morning to Pray for Patrick Mahomes' Health
By Jerry Trotta

Patrick Mahomes came into Thursday night's matchup against the Denver Broncos with a hobbled ankle that has hindered his ability to maneuver around the pocket for the last two weeks.
In response, diehard Kansas City Chiefs fans organized a prayer service at Asbury United Methodist Church in Prairie Village, Kansas for this Sunday in hopes that they could bestow some good luck on their superstar quarterback.
Fast forward to the second quarter of the game, however, and those fans will now have to hold an entirely separate prayer service for what could be a far more serious injury.

Mahomes was removed from Thursday night's game after suffering what has been described as a dislocated knee on a fourth down QB sneak in the second quarter.
He subsequently went to the Chiefs locker room for an X-ray and further examinations, and was declared out for the remainder of the clash just minutes later, which tells you all you need to know about its potential severity.

Forget a few devoted fans, the entire state of Kansas should be assembled to pray for the well-being of their franchise cornerstone. Early indications do not look good, but the sublime power of prayer is needed now more than ever for the Chiefs.
