Karl-Anthony Towns' Ex Calls Out Everyone Who Blamed Her for Drama in Minnesota
By Joey Mauceri
Timberwolves All-Star center Karl-Anthony Towns has made a name for himself as not only one of the best offensive big men in all of basketball, but certainly one of the most polarizing stars in the league as well.
During his four-year tenure in the Twin Cities, KAT has had plenty of friction with the organization, his coaches, and teammates. The star's colorful personality has caused him to make headlines more than a handful of times.
For some strange reason, a number of fans and even a few pundits pointed fingers at the center's ex-girlfriend, Kawahine Andrade, for contributing to some of the scrapes that Towns has had with some in the Wolves organization. Andrade took to Twitter to express he frustration with this notion that she is somehow responsible for issues that actually have nothing to do with her.
History of the tensions KAT has had with teammates and coaches is well documented. This includes a poor relationship with ex-teammate Jimmy Butler, who reportedly insisted that both Towns and co-star Andrew Wiggins were "soft" and the team's chemistry suffered as a result. The big man also was said to have a poor relationship with now-former head coach Tom Thibodeau.
There is no doubt that Towns' personality has been a divisive topic, and not just in Minnesota. But blaming his ex for any of his struggles simply has no known basis in fact. As for the trolls who still won't leave her alone-- get a life, people.
