Kawhi Leonard was the undisputed most valuable player of the 2019 NBA playoffs. Board Man carried his Toronto Raptors to their first ever NBA championship victory in six games over the reigning dynasty that was the Golden State Warriors. Leonard has also brought a championship to San Antonio in 2014. In 2020, his best career move can be a chance to repeat this feat with the New York Knickerbockers.

The New York Knicks have been in complete shambles for the last 20 years, with sprinkles of gilded success within that period, but certainly nothing for Knicks fans to hang their hats upon. Kawhi is a difference maker -- LeBron James level difference making. He can be just what New York needs to establish relevancy in media and produce relevancy on the court through wins.

With the Knickerbockers finishing last in the Eastern Conference last season, there is only room for improvement. Kawhi should be the prime target this off-season for James Dolan. Dolan must hush the naysayers and Dolan critics. Once wins start accumulating, past failures diminish in the public conscious. And wins will accumulate with Leonard in the blue and orange. Paired with newly drafted R.J. Barrett, this could be the duo that can place New York on everyone's radar this upcoming season and return New York to a haven of winning and inaugurate a culture of dominance. The Board Man devastated the Warriors dynasty, now it is the time for him to create one in the Big Apple.
