Kawhi Leonard Filed for 2 of the Coolest Trademarks Ever to Promote Clothing Brand

As we know, Kawhi Leonard doesn't do a whole lot of talking. So when he does, it speaks volumes. In fact, almost everything he says seems to become a viral meme these days.
Leonard speaking is the gift that keeps on giving.

One of Leonard's most memorable lines came right after his Raptors team won the NBA Finals, when Serge Ibaka recorded him on Snapchat saying, "What it do, baby". The Clippers star and his management seem to understand how valuable this excerpt was, and are now looking to trademark it and one other phrase for his New Balance clothing brand.
Kawhi Leonard has filed two new trademark applications:

1. WHAT IT DO BABY
2. CITY VIEWS OVER INTERVIEWS
The applications, filed on October 23rd, indicate that Kawhi intends to use the trademarks as a clothing brand.#kawhi #ClipperNation

It's unclear where the "City views over interviews" line came from, but it's still pretty dang awesome.

We'll see if Leonard's team can trademark these phrases. Either way, the constant memeable content that Kawhi unintentionally produces should give him plenty more to profit off of in the future. Still, though, fans out there are probably rooting for the NBA Finals champ to come out on top in this case.
