Kawhi Leonard's Uncle Dennis Reportedly Made Ludicrous Requests to Teams During NBA Free Agency
By Andy Loughmiller

Kawhi Leonard was the biggest fish out there this past summer during NBA Free Agency. The superstar forward ultimately decided to sign with the Los Angeles Clippers over the Los Angeles Lakers and Toronto Raptors, but not before his uncle made some really wild demands.
Dennis Robertson reportedly asked teams interested in his nephew for a private plane and part ownership of the franchise, among other things.

Following an NBA investigation, there was no proof found that would suggest the Clippers satisfied his requests. Granting them would be a clear violation of the CBA. However, the league is more than willing to do a little more digging around should anything new come to light.
Jeanie Buss, the president and controlling owner of the Lakers, reportedly refused these stipulations on multiple occasions. Providing such things would be illegal, on top of the fact that asking for a current player to be given part ownership of a team is absolutely ridiculous.

Uncle Dennis has been known to be one of Leonard's closest advisers. They say you should never mix business with family, and perhaps strange things like this are the reason why. Hopefully 'The Klaw' isn't penalized for his uncle's missteps if any new evidence emerges.
