VIDEO: KBO Bat Flips Are Already Coming in Hot and Baseball Fans Should Be Amped
By Tyler Kemp
After acquiring broadcasting rights to South Korean KBO League, ESPN gave its viewers a late-night treat to some international baseball. After previously hyping up the bat flips by KBO players, it was critical for them to follow suit based on their reputation. After night No. 1, this league has not disappointed at all. Witness the NC Dinos in all their glory:
For the last half-decade or so, MLB fans and players like have trying to start the movement of "letting the kids play" by making sure players can enjoy themselves on the field and put on a show for the fans. In the KBO, the “kids” have been playing like there is no tomorrow, and baseball Twitter is loving every moment of it -- as it should.
For the Dinos, back-to-back home runs and an electrifying bat flip are the perfect example of what fans expected to see on a nightly basis. With no reports of the MLB’s return being imminent, the KBO will be able to do more than enough to hold baseball fans over as a form of both sports and entertainment.
Keep the bat flips coming, boys.
